Dr. Symiah Barnett

Dr Symiah Barnett is a researcher and sustainability specialist with expertise in environmental pollution, chemistry, public policy, and community engagement. As founder of Goldenmile Research, she delivers evidence-based research and strategic insights that support environmental justice, sustainable development, and policy innovation. With experience spanning academia, government, and the third sector, Symiah is passionate about translating complex research into practical solutions that empower communities and inform decision-making.

Dr. Naomi Howard

Dr Naomi Howard develops inclusive learning programmes that inspire and empower diverse communities. A physical chemist and researcher, Naomi previously led an award-winning Royal Society of Chemistry-funded project investigating the underrepresentation of Black scientists in chemistry. Passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion, she combines research, education and community engagement to create opportunities, foster belonging and support the next generation of scientists and leaders.

Ramandeep Nijjar

Ramandeep is an award-winning young naturalist and youth leader from the UK, with a degree in Zoology from the University of Reading. She is a trustee for Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust and an active advocate for youth engagement in nature, climate and public participation. Her work includes roles with UK Youth for Nature, the British Trust for Ornithology, Climate Fresk, Biodiversity Collage, My Life My Say, and the Generation Nature podcast. She also contributes to youth-led initiatives focused on international policy dialogue and expanding opportunities for young people.
